Marimekko Lokki Fabric by the Yard

Description: The printed cotton fabric features the Lokki pattern and it is printed in Helsinki. The idea for the Lokki (seagull) pattern came to Maija Isola when she was looking at a window with a curtain drawn across it. The sun was shining, and the wide folds of the curtain formed wavy shadows on the fabric. Maija had a sudden inspiration: if a fabric is printed with waves, even a small piece of such fabric appears abundant, richly folded. Please note, fabrics sold by the yard are cut from the end of the bolt and may not start and end as shown in the image. Please see images for representations of the pattern repeat as well as an example 1 yard cut. Half-yard increments available. Multiple yards will be cut in ONE CONTINUOUS PIECE. Cut fabric is final-sale, no returns or exchanges.
