Thirty-five years ago, I started KiitosLife from scratch. It’s a business built on finding timeless pieces genuinely worth wearing, from designers who genuinely care. That instinct has never changed.

Now living in Australia, and regularly travelling for work and family, I understood what a wardrobe really needed to do. Not just look beautiful — though that matters — but travel, adapt, take you from one moment to the next without ever letting you down. So when the summer vacation finally happens, I want a wardrobe that celebrates the moment, and not one that requires thought.

ii. A linen coat that doubles as a dress. The black one.
iii. The floral print cotton dress. It carries the joy of the trip.

iv. One ivory dress, column shape. Does everything quietly.

v. A crinkle maxi — wrinkles are the point, not a problem.

vi. The kantha jacket for cool evenings and long flights.

vii. A statement necklace. Just one. OK, two! Let them do the work.

viii. A scarf. For everything else.

When I am moving fast, the small things matter most. A Marimekko crossbody that holds everything and still looks considered. A Becksöndergaard belt at 7 pm that suddenly gives a floaty dress a shape. A scarf that doubles as a wrap when the breeze comes off the water after sunset.

None of these takes any thought — that is exactly why I love them. Getting dressed should take five minutes. Looking like it took an hour is the whole point.
