About the artist:
Uli Rapp (1974) received her Masters degree in jewelry design at the prestigious Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. Fascinated by the Elizabethan splendor in dress decoration she translates it into wearable contemporary jewelry. Her collections have developed rapidly in a sophisticated style and use of smart materials - she invented a technique to apply medical plastic between textile. Uli’s necklaces, brooches and earrings interpret a love for antique gemstones and pearls contrasting with chunky chains. All pieces are skillfully handmade in screen print on light weight soft materials. The combination of a contemporary artist’s tools with the hint of past splendor makes for scintillating jewelry: conversation pieces for bold wearers like famous Architect Zaha Hadid, Designer Nathalie Rykiel or Boy George. Uliʼs pieces are produced in Amsterdam, by hand and with love by Uli & her team. They are worn all over the world and can be found in permanent collections of international museums and private collectors. They are sold at shows and galleries in Paris, Miami and Dubai.

Sales Tax All Ohio orders are subject to current sales tax rates. Sales tax is applied to merchandise total and shipping. Please note, Ohio is a "shipping origin" sales tax state, so all Ohio orders are charged a tax rate of 6.5%.
Out of Stock Merchandise We do our very best to ship all orders within 48 hours of being received, additional processing times for orders received on the weekend. Most of out stock items have a three to four-week ship date plus any additional transit time to your destination. Most merchandise ships to us direct from vendors and cannot be expedited or drop-shipped. Please contact us directly with any questions about lead time on a particular item.
Shipping & Handling KIITOSlife now ships primarily by UPS, USPS and DHL but can ship via FedEx when requested. All expedited shipping costs are automatically calculated by UPS, USPS and DHL during checkout using weight, value and destination information. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes using UPS or FedEx.
International Customers Our website accepts international addresses! Please e-mail us for any international inquiries. We ship internationally using the United States Postal Service (USPS) and DHL. Rates are automatically calculated at checkout.
A note regarding time in transit: for Priority Mail USPS estimates the number of days for delivery (1, 2 or 3) based on location. These are not guaranteed delivery dates, only an estimate of time in transit from when your package is received by the post office. Express shipments do come with a guaranteed delivery date. USPS is now requiring signatures for package deliveries, however, due to the majority of customers requesting packages to be left without signature, we do not check off the signature required box allowing the postal worker to leave the package at his own discretion. Please indicate in the comments section of your order if you'd like a signature required for your package.

Any order being shipped to a destination outside of the United States may be subject to incremental import duties and taxes. You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Charges for duties, taxes and the carrier's service and collection fees are in addition to your shipping charge and must be borne by you. All prices on our site are shown in U.S. dollars (USD). The price is exclusive of any import duties, taxes and shipping charges. EU CUSTOMERS: Starting July 1, 2021 you will be responsible for paying VAT taxes upon receipt of your order; we do not charge VAT taxes up front and our prices do not include VAT. Pricing/Coupons/Price Adjustments Only one coupon/code may be applied per order. Multiple promotions/codes cannot be applied. We will gladly process a price adjustment on items purchased at full price within 7 days of the date on your receipt. Items purchased on sale will not be eligible for additional adjustments. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders relating to such pricing error(s). Please note, for minimum purchase promotions, returns for refund will be pro-rated to discount level for the post-return purchase price. If purchase after return does not meet purchase minimum, and kept items will be charged at full-price. Returns for store credit will allow any kept items to retain their discount regardless of purchase total. Any minimum purchase required is for merchandise before taxes or shipping.
Return/Exchange Policy To return or exchange an item simply include the packing list indicating the items for return or include a note explaining your return. You MUST contact us at email@example.com for a Return Authorization. We can give you the proper return address when you request the RMA. All returns must be received within 14 days from delivery date to be eligible for return. Any items returned 15-30 days after being received will be issued a store credit, valid at kiitoslife.com only.
**COVID19- RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY During this time we are extending the deadline for returns/exchanges. We ask that the return process be initiated by e-mail within 2 weeks of receiving orders. Full refunds/exchanges are issued once returns are received. If there are circumstances preventing a timely return please alert us to the situation.
Return Labels To simplify returns we are happy to issue return labels and deduct from refund. Print and attach to package and leave for USPS letter carrier or drop off at post office.
KIITOSlife reserves the right to refuse refunds on merchandise that is worn or used. All items must be in original packaging and have tags attached. All merchandise ordered via kiitoslife.com may be returned for a full-refund (less shipping) or exchange, including sale merchandise within the above mentioned time-frame (with the exception of items noted as FINAL SALE, which are not eligible for return or exchange and fabric which is final sale.) We do NOT accept returns from other Marimekko retailers or websites.
All fabric orders are final sale. No returns or exchanges will be accepted except in the case of defect or error.
Customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with a return/exchange. No refunds will be made on shipping or duty fee charges.
For the holiday season we extend our return/exchange period. Purchases made from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve may be returned for refund, store credit or exchanged through January 15, 2023. Christmas items are excluded from the extended returned period and may not be returned after Christmas.
We strive to respond to all requests within 24 hours.
Please be aware that we do not carry large volumes of stock; in many cases we may carry only one or two pieces of a specific size. In the case that the item you have ordered has sold out or is on back-order we will contact you within 24 hours via phone or email and give you an estimated delivery date.
