Cupro is an artificial fiber made from cellulose that requires less water, fertilizers, and pesticides to grow than for example cotton. Prints designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, who worked at Marimekko from 1953 to 1960, represent timeless Marimekko design at its core.
