Danielle Gori-Montanelli Felt Jewelry
Danielle Gori-Montanelli was born in Washington D.C., in 1967. From a very young age she was always drawing, painting, and making stuff. She still has one of my first pieces of jewelry she made when she was little: a bracelet made of movie ticket stubs...she has a studio filled with rolls and sheets and scraps and snippets and bits of different colors and thicknesses of felt, which is cut by hand with strong scissors and with custom made dies. She constructs the pieces sitting at her desk, looking out at her new multicolored friends perched on her bird feeders, a new passion.
